Are there any prerequisites for CRRT?
In order to register for CRRT, participants must have achieved and currently hold their Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals certification (CCFC). For those who have not yet achieved their CCFC, you can find relevant information here.
What will I get from Chainalysis Risk and Regulation Training Certification?
Participants who attend the full 8 hours of course time will receive a Certificate of Completion, available both in a physical certificate (for in-person events) and online LinkedIn badge (included in price).
Is there an exam for the Chainalysis Risk and Regulation Training Certification?
There is no exam for the CRRT; this is an attendance certification and will be awarded upon completion of the entire 8 hour course.
Will we get the slides after the course?
Chainalysis does not provide the slide deck to participants, however a reference guide will be provided to help and encourage participants to follow along during the course of training.
Does my Chainalysis Risk and Regulation Training Certificate expire?
As this course awards you a certificate of completion; there is no expiration date associated with your certificate.
Can anyone apply?
Our CRRT course is only currently available to Chainalysis customers and partners that have achieved their Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification. For those that are eligible, we ask that you register with your work email address and recommend adding some brief details on why you are interested in the course. We will then review this application before confirming attendance. Please note, registration is not a guarantee of acceptance.
Do I need to travel to attend a CRRT course?
Our top priority is to create an engaging and safe learning environment. Currently, we deliver all CRRT courses as virtual training, ensuring you can attend from the comfort of your home, office, or wherever you are!
How much does CRRT cost?
The cost of our CRRT training course is $999 per person for virtual events. Virtual events include two half days of webcam-based training, training materials, and a certificate of completion.
When is the deadline to register?
Since our training focuses on a hands-on approach, classes have a limited capacity and often fill up more than 1 month in advance. We encourage you to plan ahead to secure funding, and sign up quickly to ensure your spot!
I’ve registered, how will I hear from Chainalysis?
We will contact you via email with confirmation of your course registration. We will also be in touch 1 week before the scheduled date of your selected course. One final email will be sent 24 hours before the start of the course with final logistical details.
You will receive your invoice, along with payment options in a separate email.

Can I cancel or switch to a different course?
We understand that circumstances change. You can cancel your registration and receive a full refund as long as you inform us in writing of your cancellation no less than 14 days prior to the first day of the training course by emailing us at [email protected] Note no refunds will be provided for any cancellation requests received less than 14 days prior to the first day of the applicable training course.
All requests to reschedule into a different course must be submitted in writing to us no less than 14 days prior to the first day of the original training course, by emailing [email protected] Any requests received less than 14 days prior to the first day of the applicable training course will be reviewed on an individual basis and will be accepted or rejected at Chainalysis’s sole discretion. Chainalysis provides flexible payment options but reserves the right to withhold certification or reject a registration for any participant who does not submit timely payment.
